Community cancer champions are volunteers working within the local communities to help spread awareness about cancer and its early signs and symptoms. They also help tackle issues such as taboos and stigmas associated with cancer within the Muslim community.
Befrienders are carefully selected volunteers who have lived experience of cancer, they offer emotional and practical support to Muslims who have either been diagnosed with cancer or to partners, family, and friends of people diagnosed with cancer.
